About Seedling
Collaborative • Connected • Community
We aim to improve communication outcomes for families in the Doveton community in South-Eastern Melbourne and beyond through our Telehealth delivery service.
Meet Sarah O’Gorman
Speech Pathologist
Sarah began Seedling Speech Pathology in 2019 to support the community’s needs for speech pathology services. At home she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young sons, gardening and reading.
Sarah is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist who completed her Master of Speech Pathology at La Trobe University in 2012, following on from her undergraduate studies in linguistics and health sciences. She has gained experience working with children and adolescents with a range of communication difficulties, including autism spectrum disorders (ASD), developmental language disorders, speech sound difficulties, stuttering and literacy skills.
Sarah is a member of Speech Pathology Australia and is involved in their professional self-regulation program. She is passionate about working as part of a wider care team and relishes the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on an individual’s everyday life through high quality, evidence-based assessment and therapy.
We aim to work within each individual’s existing support network to help enrich communication.
- We are evidence-based.
- We are connected to our local community.
- We utilise a strengths-based approach.
- We are transparent in our practices and goals.
