Funding

For our services

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) funds support to help people with a disability reach their goals. It also supports carers of people with disability.

The NDIS works with people individually and recognises that people have different needs and goals. It gives people choice about the support they need to live the life they want.

If your child has a significant and permanent disability or developmental delay, the NDIS helps you and your child access services and support in your community.

Medicare

If you are referred by a GP under a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan, your child may be eligible for a Medicare rebate on up to 5 allied health services per calendar year. Clients eligible for a CDM plan require multidisciplinary, team-based care from a GP and at least two other healthcare providers. Ask your referring GP about eligibility requirements, or click HERE for more information.

Private Health Insurance

You may claim for speech pathology sessions if this is an included extra in your private health insurance. There are various limits that may apply, for example a limit per service, per year, or lifetime limits. Check with your private health fund for more details and be sure to let us know if you plan on claiming for our services.
